Troubleshooting

  • Check your app permissions, ensure your location services are enabled. The door will only unlock if you are physically in front of it.

    Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed on your device.

    Make sure your device is compatible with the Kisi app. The Kisi app is compatible with devices running Android 8.0 or later and iOS 15.0 or later. If your device is not compatible with the app, you may experience issues such as crashes or app not opening.

    Check your device is connected to the internet and it is a stable connection.

    Restart your device and app.

    Clear app cache and data. On iOS go to Settings > Kisi > Clear Cache. On Android go to Settings > Apps > Kisi > Storage > Clear Cache

    If you are still experience trouble opening the door, please contact us immediately.

  • Airpods

    Make sure Bluetooth is turned on, put both Airpods in the charging case and open the lid. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case until the status light starts flashing white. Once they appear on the kiosk screen in the Nearby Devices list, press Connect and then Pair.

    Galaxy Buds

    Put the buds in the charging case, close the lid and wait a few seconds then open the case. Once they appear on the kiosk screen in the Nearby Devices list, press Connect and then Pair.

    Or put the buds in your ears and tap and hold bot buds at the same time until you hear a sound. Once they appear on the kiosk screen in the Nearby Devices list, press Connect and then Pair.

    If your headphones are still not connecting, try disconnecting them from your phone, watch or other devices that are connected.

  • Turn the kiosk off by switching off at the power socket, wait a couple seconds and then turn back on. It will take a minute or so for the kiosk to load back up and reconnect to the internet.

    If it is still not playing or there is a buffering issue, there may be an internet outage. Please alert us asap and we can fix the issue.
